Custom software

Software built around your business.

Applosive develops custom business software, integrations, and data platforms for companies whose requirements don't fit neatly into an off-the-shelf product.

We combine bespoke development with proven components and reusable software foundations, so we can customize what matters without rebuilding everything else.

The problem

Your business isn't off the shelf. Why should all of your software be?

Most businesses reach a point where an existing system still does 80 or 90 percent of what they need - but the remaining gap creates a disproportionate amount of manual work. That doesn't necessarily mean the software needs replacing. Often it can't be replaced at all.

There's a point at which adapting your business to the limitations of software becomes more expensive than building around those limitations.
What "building around it" can mean
Cleaning, enriching, or mapping incoming data before it reaches a system
Connecting systems through APIs, feeds, webhooks, or scheduled sync
An intermediate application that coordinates multiple systems
Workflows added before or after an existing SaaS or ERP process
Import/export pipelines built around a system that can't change
A dedicated interface for a process the underlying system handles poorly
Our approach

Custom where it matters. Proven where it doesn't.

Generic SaaS

Fast to start, but you eventually end up adapting your processes to fit the software.

Fully bespoke development

Potentially ideal, but expensive when standard functionality has to be built again from scratch.

Applosive

Use proven foundations where they fit, and build only the parts that are genuinely specific to your business.

How we work
01

Understand.

We start with the process, the systems, the data, and the actual business reason behind the request - not a feature list.

02

Reuse what already works.

Internal components, established technologies, and third-party software, wherever they already solve the problem adequately. PIMSuite is the first product built this way.

03

Build the difference.

The customer-specific workflows, integrations, rules, and functionality that create the actual value - developed, not improvised.

What we build

The kinds of problems we're comfortable solving

Business applications

Custom applications for operational processes that spreadsheets or generic SaaS no longer handle well.

Data platforms

Applications for managing structured business data, relationships, validation, enrichment, and distribution.

System integration

Connect ERP, e-commerce, supplier, logistics, CRM, and other systems through APIs, feeds, and purpose-built connectors.

Workflow automation

Replace repetitive manual data handling with controlled, automated processes.

Customer & partner portals

Interfaces that expose the right data and workflows to customers, suppliers, employees, or partners.

Extensions to existing software

Build around existing systems rather than replacing them unnecessarily.

Our first product

PIMSuite

A working PIM foundation for businesses with complex product data, supplier feeds, pricing rules, and multiple sales channels - configured for most cases, extended where a business genuinely needs something different.

Real-world examples

Built for messy real-world systems

Supplier data cleanup

A distributor receives inconsistent CSV and XML feeds from a dozen suppliers - different field names, different units, different category vocabularies. We build the pipeline that normalizes all of it into one reliable catalog.

Legacy ERP bridge

An ERP handles the accounting fine but can't expose the workflow a team actually needs. Instead of replacing it, we build a small application that sits in front and coordinates data through its API or export files.

Manual approval process

A spreadsheet-based approval process works until it doesn't - no audit trail, no roles, one broken formula from chaos. We turn it into a small internal app with proper validation, permissions, and history.

Working together

You'll usually talk directly to the people designing and building the software.

We ask questions - sometimes quite a lot of them. We may tell you that the original idea is unnecessarily complicated, or recommend an existing tool instead of building one. When custom development does make sense, we'll explain what we think should be built and why.
